Worship

Sunday morning worship is held in the sanctuary on the second floor of the church.

Easter past...

We are currently on our "winter" schedule which means that worship begins at 10:45 am. Sunday School begins earlier at 9:30 am. We will continue on this schedule until Memorial Day Weekend in May when Sunday School will end and worship services will begin at 9:45 am. During the summer there is a light breakfast beginning at 9 am.

We may have exceptions on the Sunday following Christmas as well as Easter Sunday when we generally gather for a breakfast during the Sunday School time period.

In addition to Pastor Steve's thought-provoking sermons, you can never be sure what other resources will be used in worship--ranging from traditional hymns of centuries past to contemporary music to liturgical dance to drama. You may even see appropriate YouTube items projected on screen!

Special services are also scheduled prior to Easter on Holy Thursday and Good Friday. Both services begin at 7:30 pm.

On Christmas Eve, services generally begin with special music at 9:30 pm and worship at 10 pm. However, this year services will begin one hour earlier as Christmas Day falls on Sunday. Sunday morning worship services will be at the usual 10:45 am time slot; however, there will not be any Sunday School on December 25.

Likewise, there will not be any Sunday School on January 1.

Sunday School--Sunday school begins at 9:30 am each Sunday from the Sunday following Labor Day in September through the Sunday before Memorial Day in May. We are lucky to have talented and dedicated Sunday School teachers for our children.
