Welcome to Ottawa Presbyterian Church!Located at 150 North Oak, on the corner of East Third Street and Oak Street. Worship Services We are on "summer schedule" as of May 24. Please join us for a light breakfast at 9:00 am followed by worship at 9:45 am. Sunday School will resume on September 13. Pastor Steve will be on Sabbatical for six weeks. He left May 31 and will return on July 16. Rev. David Young will be here on Sundays (except June 14). If you need pastoral care for other special needs, other local pastors will be available at different times. Click here for a schedule. Welcome, Baby Zane! This mural was dedicated on June 20, 2009. During 2009, the Village of Ottawa is celebrating its 175th Anniversary with several events. On Memorial Day, the Hallway of History was dedicated and opened to the public in the Municipal Building right next door to Ottawa Presbyterian Church. The second event, on June 20, was a walking tour of historical Ottawa buildings (yes...we were part of the tour). Dave C. provided historical details for those on the tour and Jane D. and Janie F. were on hand to provide much appreciated cookies and water as well. The final event will take place in Ottawa's Memorial Park on September 26. Our local post office offered a special "stamp cancellation" on May 28 (and will offer it again on September 25) to observe the beginning and the end of this special observance. Just for You...NewslettersSabbatical Pastoral Care We will need a new child care worker during our worship services by mid-August 2009. Generally, there could be two babies and two primary school students to care for during worship. Adult volunteers will be available to assist if the group is any larger. Pay is $25 per Sunday.
