- Bowling 2010 - Valentine's Day

Once again we headed to the bowling alley on a winter afternoon--this time on Valentine's Day. You can't really guess that it's Valentine's Day in this picture--the guys are getting as far away from the girls as possible (while still remaining in reach of the pizza).

This year, our Advent and Christmas decor theme centers on the angels that surround us.

- Baby Shower

On June 13, 2009, the women of the church hosted a baby shower for Robyn and Wayne and their expected child. Baby Zane, who was scheduled to arrive on July 4 made his debut early--on the day following the shower!

- Fall 2009 Work Day

Saturday, Oct 31st some of the church's youth gathered at Diane B's house to rake leaves. After they were done, Diane graciously provided hot chocolate, apple cider & pastries. Thanks to Jean S. for providing these pictures of the event!

Church Life 2009-Baptisms, New Members, and more

Corby (back row, right) joined this elite group on October 4 celebrating 50 years of membership at Ottawa Presbyterian Church. Ellin P. and Agnes R. are seated, with Jim P., Dave C. and Corby F. standing behind. Five other 50 year members were unable to attend.

Love, Presbyterian Style

On Sunday February 15, Ottawa Presbyterians concluded the Valentine Weekend with Love, Presbyterian Style. We had wonderful participation, with pictures submitted for 39 couples (and our apologies to anyone that was missed). There was a slide show during church, with a "wedding reception" afterwards. Many bridal gowns and albums were on display, and the food was wonderful!

March 2009 Flooding

In spite of all the debris, the church is reflected in the water on the parking lot side of the street. That's something to think about...even when times are bad we still "reflect" our image. May it always be a good one!
